    Smart Click-Pad™

    What is ELAN's Smart Click-Pad™?
    Just a Pad, No Buttons:
ELAN's Smart Click-Pad™ eliminates the need of physical buttons since the entire touchpad functions as buttons.
User can click almost anywhere on the touchpad to simulate the mouse left or right button click. The button-less
design not only makes laptop ID more unique but also provides a larger touch sensor area for user to perform the
gestures. ELAN's Smart Click-Pad™ is compatible with the eStylus™.

    What is ELAN's Smart Click-Pad™?

    Image Sensing of Multi-Finger Gestures:
  • Image Sensing (IS) Technology supports a wide range of Multi-Finger
gestures (4-Finger gesture and touch & resting finger area behavior)
that offers a sensational touch-control experience.

  • Image Sensing of Palm-Rejection:
  • Image Sensing (IS)Technology can distinguish finger-touch from inadvertent
palm contact on touchpad. This feature prevents touchpad from providing
unwanted responses, e.g., accidental cursor jumps, page flipping, etc., while
        typing or on other tasks.

  • Excellent Water/Sweat Resistance:
  • User can operate touchpad normally unaffected by finger sweat or moisture on touchpad surface.

  • Animated Gestures Application Tutorial:
  • Driver UI tutorial is available. This animated feature allows user to easily learn the various Multi-Finger
        Gestures (i.e., Zoom / Rotate /Scrolling / Swiping/etc.)

gestures: magnify, rotation, zoom in/out, etc.

    Illuminative Smart-Pad™

    What is ELAN's Illuminative Smart-Pad™?
With special lighting effect on TouchPad:
The Illuminative Smart-Pad™ (Back-lit Touchpad) provides various light-guided arrangements that generate
special lighting effects on touchpad during illumination mode. Ex: The spot where the finger touches will light-up
when LED mode is enabled, etc.

    Why ELAN's Illuminative Smart-Pad™:
The light-guided arrangements can be customized for fit personal needs such as brand and product differentiation. e.g.,
Company name, Brand logo, or unique ID appearance. ELAN's Illuminative Smart-Pad™ also supports multi-finger
          gestures and optional eStylus™ input.

    eStylus™

    What is ELAN's eStylus™?
The eStylus™ has the capabilities to give the user the pen accuracy which the finger cannot. It is great for signatures,
drawing / painting, hand-writing recognition and more.

    Why ELAN's eStylus™?
Traditional stylus with thin tip on capacitive touchscreen are either magnetic or need batteries, which make the stylus
expensive. While those that do not need batteries/magnetic need a very thick pen tip, usually around 5mm (lead to lower
resolution and restrictions in writing at different angles). The eStylus™ is highlighted by its 2mm pen tip, wide writing
angles, and its independence from being battery powered.
