General Description
The Capacitive Touchpad Application Library provides details on touch key application solutions based on microcontroller device. eKTF5616 provide three operation mode: Active mode (AM) / Low Active Mode (LAM) / Low Scan Mode (LSM). It can apply on PCB and film material and support maximum 16 keys with waterproof function which can avoid error key status from water splashing. For function applications, the system provides I²C slave protocol to communicate with host device. Users can get key status and set command using I²C. Additionally, eKTF5616 also supports SPI and UART communication. The Library supports capacitive touch key with plastic or glass substrate, and the maximum cover thickness is 8 mm. eKTF5616 touch function has more wide range parameter auto-calibration. It can be suitable for current environment when VDD on, and adjustment mechanism will run when environment varies. eKTF5616 has 8 channel 12 bits AD converters, Internal watch-dog timer and multi-level LVD detector which can ensure system stability. In addition to Flash ROM, eKTF5616 has internal 128 bytes EEPROM for customer use.
